Finders Oracle

The Finders Oracle is a card system for solo and group roleplaying, storytelling and world building... or whatever requires open-ended, evocative and vague answers. Instead of rolling dice, you pick your next steps from a deck of card.

The deck is made of 36 cards, each card featuring 2 related concepts, verbs or items. Pick 2 or 3 cards and let their meaning emerge. If something feels wrong, rotate a single card.

Digital Format

As of now, the deck uses the same format as playing cards (2.5" x 3.5") making it ideals for people who would want to print the PDF and glue to standard cards.

Inspiration

It is partly inspired by A Lonely Knave and Vaults of Vaarn. The aesthetics fit quites well with Into the Odd/Electric Bastionland.
